After Life star Ashley Jensen has revealed Ricky Gervais is writing away at the show's upcoming third season. The actress confirmed Ricky, 58, has been given the go ahead by Netflix during an appearance on The One Show.

It appears Ricky is using his time wisely in lockdown as he's already penning scripts for the dark comedy show. "I know a third series is already on its way.

And I think Ricky has tapped a few words into his computer, or quill, or whatever he uses," Ashley told hosts Alex Jones and Rylan Clark-Neal.

Ricky has been offered a whopping £5million deal from Netflix for his third series of the show, according to The Sun. It's claimed the seven-figure package will include the comedian writing a number of comedy specials
