Adrian Lam can still remember the first time he saw Harry Smith play rugby league: and it is why he is unwavering in his belief that he is heading for the very top in Super League.

The 21-year-old is slowly beginning to hit his stride as a first-team player at Wigan Warriors of late, thanks in no small part to the regular game-time he has received in light of a string of absentees for Lam to contend with.

But Lam has no issues in throwing his full support behind Smith, especially given how he has been aware of his immense potential for longer than almost anyone else in the sport.
