Adrian Lam praised the character of his team but admitted they still had plenty to work on after defeating Huddersfield. Wigan ended their five-match losing streak as they overcame the Giants, coming from behing to win 16-12.

Harry Smith's late try completed the comeback, a fact that delighted Lam given their recent woe. "I was frustrated watching the game again," Lam said. "We had a good start then all of a sudden they get up field twice and scored.
