‘Adolescence’ Hits 24.3 Million Views in Four Days on Netflix

Selome Hailu Netflix’s newest crime drama “Adolescence” has been a runaway hit, reaching 24.3 million views in its first four days of availability, making it the streamer’s top show for the week of March 10-16.

The series, hailing from the U.K. and following the family of a young boy accused of murder, was only surpassed in viewership by “The Electric State,” the Russo brothers’ sci-fi film starring Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt, which led the Netflix Top 10 with 25.2 million views.

Back on the TV chart, “Running Point” came in second place with 6 million views in its third week of streaming. It was followed by “Zero Day” with 4.4 million views in its fourth week. “Beauty in Black” was fourth with 3.9 million views in the first full week of availability for the second part of Season 1 and its sixth week on the chart overall.
