Adele has revealed that everyone has been pronouncing her name wrong for years and have given the correct version. The Someone Like You singer says that it's only people who live in London that actually pronounce her name "perfectly".
The 34-year-old has also previously admitted she dropped her "drab" surname when she launched her career, leaving her a single-name artist.
Speaking on Happy Hour with Adele, alongside Benito Skinner, a woman appeared on screen from London. And her appearance provided viewers in the studio and at home sharing in a moment of revelation, writes the Mirror.
Adele was delighted and exclaimed: “Where's she from, Enfield? She said my name perfectly!” While many fans have referred to her as "ah-dell," Adele actually prefers a faint lilt at the end of her name to align with her North London accent.
