Adele’s estranged father dies before they can mend their broken relationship

It has been reported that Adele’s estranged father Mark Evans has died at the age of 57 following a battle with cancer. The Grammy award-winning singer and her father have had a rocky relationship for many years, which escalated when he claimed during an interview that she had abandonment issues and that is the reason she struggled to find love.

According to The Sun, Adele’s father passed away before the pair ever got to rekindle their relationship, following their bitter falling out years previously.

A source told the publication that Mark Evan’s family were ‘of course very upset by his passing’, as he revealed in 2013 that he had been diagnosed with bowel cancer.
