Adam Sandler has proved that he’s still a pro on the golf course for the 25th anniversary of Happy Gilmore. The iconic 2000’s flick saw the 54-year-old Hollywood actor portray ice hockey player Happy, who discovers he has a talent for golf, much to the distaste of a string of professional golfers.
Showcasing his golfing skills, Adam has this week revisited one of the character’s old feuds in a hilarious anniversary video.
Kitted out in the best golfing gear, the funny man declared: “It’s been 25 years since I’ve done this, let’s see what happens. “Shooter McGavin, this is for you.” In response to Adam’s savage dig, the flick’s villain Shooter, who was played by Christopher McDonald, hit back by sharing his own video to social media.
