Adam Peaty twice dropped the 'F bomb' on live TV as he reacted to winning Team GB's first gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games on Monday.

The 26-year-old claimed victory in the 100m breaststroke after finishing in a time of 57.37 seconds - the fifth fastest of all time.

Peaty's win also sees him make history as he becomes the first Brit ever to retain an Olympic swimming medal. He was visibly emotional after the race, punching the water and holding his arms aloft in celebration.

And when he was interviewed by the BBC he was unable to stop himself swearing as he reacted to what he had achieved. “It takes an athlete to be the best person on the day and who f***ing wants it more," Peaty said. “It just means the world to me.
