Serie A giants AC Milan have reportedly turned down the chance to sign midfielder Adam Lallana on a free transfer this summer because they do not think he would add a huge amount to their squad.
The former Southampton man has been at Anfield for six years, but has made just three Premier League appearances this season and is no longer considered a key figure in Jurgen Klopp's side.
With his contract set to expire in June Lallana looks set to seek a new challenge, and there had been speculation that he could follow the likes of Ashley Young and Chris Smalling to Serie A, with Milan said to be among those interested.
