Adam King and his virtual hugs have captured the hearts of the nation ever since his appearance on the Late Late Toy Show. The little boy from Cork with the big dreams of working for NASA has managed to lift all of our spirits during the worst year in living memory and that’s definitely something to shout about or sing about in Doireann Garrihy’s case.

The presenter penned a sweet tribute to the 6-year-old and performed it live on air with Eoghan McDermott much to the delight of their listeners.
