Adam Idah is a Celtic player once again after the Hoops finally struck a deal with Norwich for the hitman.Ireland striker Idah impressed on loan at Parkhead in the second half of last season and a run of nine goals in 19 games - including the winner in the Scottish Cup final - saw the Canaries jack up their asking price.
The Hoops' pursuit of him has been one of the stories of the summer, with Idah making it clear early in the window he wanted a move, but Norwich stood firm - until now.He has officially been announced as a permanent Celtic player, with the fee understood to be an initial £8.5m plus a further £1m in add ons.
He pens a five-year deal, and will go straight back into the fold under Brendan Rodgers, with a second debut possible this weekend against Hibs.
Idah said: “I think everyone knew where I wanted to be. It’s amazing for me and I’m delighted to be back.
