The actress, best known for her role as Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge, had been ill for a few months. Una died surrounded by her family at her home in Edinburgh, her agent added.
The TV star became widely known for appearing in the film Summer Holiday back in 1963 before portraying Rita Rawlins in the BBC sitcoms Till Death Us Do Part and In Sickness and in Health.
She also played Miss Bat in the Worst Witch, and later appeared in Sherlock and hit soap EastEnders, among a number of other television shows.
