The 2020 ACM Awards are moving from Las Vegas to Nashville. Variety is reporting that the country music award show is heading back to Music City for the re-scheduled event in September.
The Grand Ole Opry House, the Ryman Auditorium and the tiny Bluebird Cafe will serve as the venues for the telecast, which will still be broadcast on CBS.
However, there was no word about live audiences being a part of the event. “While we were disappointed to postpone our April show in Las Vegas, we couldn’t be more thrilled to host the rescheduled 55th ACM Awards in the home of country music for the first time in the Academy’s history,” Damon Whiteside, CEO of the ACM, shared in a statement.
