The son of one of Britain’s richest men had to fork out £4,500 on taxis after cops seized his flash car for doing 130mph on a motorway.
Alfie Best Jr, 23, was left to stump up twice for 440-mile rides halfway across France, costing £2,250 a time, after his Audi RS 6 was seized.
He was stopped in the £100,000 motor late at night as he raced from Calais to Cannes for a visit to the Riveria. Cops pulled him over near Dijon, confiscated his car and later hit him with a £680 fine and six-month ban.
Alfie, who appeared on ITV reality show Absolutely Ascot, had to extend his stay so he and two friends could go back in another cab to collect the Audi after it had been impounded for a week.
