Naman Ramachandran Prime Video India’s upcoming father-daughter dance drama “Be Happy,” starring Abhishek Bachchan, has locked in its global premiere date.

The Remo D’Souza-directed feature, produced under Remo Dsouza Entertainment Pvt Ltd by Lizelle Remo D’Souza, centers on the relationship between devoted single father Shiv (Bachchan) and his quick-witted daughter Dhara (Inayat Verma), who dreams of competing on the country’s biggest dance reality show.

When an unexpected crisis threatens her ambitions, Shiv embarks on what’s described as an “extraordinary journey” to keep his daughter’s hopes alive.

Nora Fatehi co-stars alongside Bachchan and Verma, with Nassar, Johny Lever, and Harleen Sethi rounding out the supporting cast. “For Lizelle and me, ‘Be Happy’ is a true passion project – a deeply moving story that celebrates the special bond between a father and daughter through the magic of music and dance.
