This is the bloody scene after a stabbing victim 'crawled' onto a petrol station forecourt to beg for help. Pictures of the scene show a trail of blood and stains next to the building in Abbey Wood, south east London, last night.
A witness claimed a man was stabbed nearby and managed to reach the BP petrol station to call for help. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening, the Met Police said.
Witness Mary Summers, who was getting change at the station, said she saw the victim crawling up the road to the garage. She claimed the victim leaned against the night pay desk and begged for an ambulance.
He then apparently staggered into the middle of the forecourt and collapsed. A Met Police spokesman: "The London Ambulance Service
