A video shows the moment members of an animal welfare association arrive to rescue the dog, identified in the note as being called Max, and slowly gain his trust to be able to untie him.
He is taken to safety where he began to relax, with volunteers saying the nervous pet was responding well and letting people touch him after initially being very guarded.
It appears the dog had been begrudgingly left in the park in the Mexican capital of Mexico City this week, with the note reading: “Please, I ask you to adopt this dog and take good care of him. "Leaving my dog here
