Aaron Rodgers will be back on the field for an NFL for the first time in a year after tearing his Achilles four snaps into his first game for the New York Jets.
The outspoken quarterback will do it with a Netflix greenlight in his pocket. The streamer has ordered docuseries Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, which will follow Rodgers’ comeback, which kicks off at Levi’s Stadium as the Jets take on the San Francisco 49ers.
The three-part series, which launches on December 17, will also follow the ayahuasca advocate’s life off the field. It is produced by Religion of Sports, Skydance Sports and NFL Films.
In the trailer, which you’ll be able to see above shortly, Rodgers talks about both his approach to quarterback play, as well as the events of that night at MetLife Stadium. “Listen, I believe in the power of prayer and intention and from the first night this happened, hours after that, I was surrounded by a bunch of really special people in my life, and we just laid down a lot of prayers,” he said.
