Rangers may not have a direct option to buy Aaron Ramsey in the summer as new reports in Italy have cast confusion over the deal.
Ramsey joined Rangers on loan until the end of the season in one of the most sensational deadline day transfers Scottish football has ever seen.
He arrives at Ibrox in search of regular first-team football after struggling at Juventus this season. They went into detail over the deal that took Dejan Kulusevski to Tottenham but there was no mention of any finances in Ramsey's loan announcement later in the day.
