Aaron Ramsey won’t be handed an Old Firm baptism of fire as the Rangers new boy is forced to wait to make his Light Blues bow.
The Welsh superstar moved to Ibrox in a dramatic deadline day loan from Juventus and fans were hoping to see him in action in their derby showdown against Celtic at Parkhead.
But the game on Wednesday will come too soon for the 31-year-old, who was pictured training with his new team-mates, as boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst says he won’t be in the squad for the game.
The Dutchman, who also brought in young Polish right back Mateusz Zukowski, said: "To be able to bring in a player like Aaron is great and a lot of hard work from Ross Wilson to make it possible."Ramsey trained but too soon for tomorrow.
