Aaron Chalmers has shared an adorable photo of his baby son after opening up about his genetic condition. The former Geordie Shore star, 36, welcomed a baby boy with ex-girlfriend Talia Oatway, 31, earlier this year, with Talia going on to share the difficult time the family had been through after he was born with a rare condition.
Baby Oakley was born with an incredibly rare genetic illness called Apert Syndrome , and has undergone numerous surgeries since his birth.
Apert Syndrome is a genetic condition which causes premature fusion of bones in the skull.The hands and feet are also affected, leading to the fingers and toes being joined or webbed.
Aaron took to Instagram to share a sweet photo of his son, showcasing how proud he is of his boy. In the photo, Aaron and Oakley both pose for a selfie where Aaron can be seen smiling as he gently rests a hand on Oakley’s cheek.
