Paramount+ announced on Monday that A Quiet Place: Day One, the third film in the A Quiet Place horror franchise which examines the day the world went silent, is set to begin streaming exclusively on the service in the U.S.
and Canada on Tuesday, August 27. The critically acclaimed Paramount title’s availability in additional international markets will be announced at a later date.
Directed by Pig‘s Michael Sarnoski, and starring Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther films) and Joseph Quinn (Gladiator II), it hits streaming following a late June theatrical release which saw the film open to nearly $100 million worldwide, in a franchise best.
Grossing over $261 million worldwide to date, A Quiet Place: Day One watches as Samira (Nyong’o) returns home to New York City, seeing her simple trip turn into a harrowing nightmare when mysterious creatures that hunt by sound attack.
