Danni Menzies has revealed that she was recently hit by a "stolen moped" after it "lost control", leaving her shook up. The A Place In The Sun star, 33, took to her Instagram Stories to share the news with her followers as she revealed that would be a "bit quiet" on social media over the coming weeks.

She posted a black-and-white snap of the damaged moped and explained that things were not "looking pretty right now". “Sooooo….

On Saturday I was taken out (on the pavement!) by a stolen moped that lost control. Didn’t see it coming and it’s not looking pretty right now tbh," Danni wrote.

She added: “I’m sure I will be fine in a few weeks but in the meantime I will be a wee bit quiet on here.” Danni's latest update comes after she announced she was quitting A Place In The Sun after six years earlier this year.
