mirror.co.ukA Place in the Sun presenter Laura Hamilton got shut down by a house hunting couple in a tense moment on last night's show as they told her "If it was easy, we would have found it ourselves".
Laura, 38, was in sunny Fuerteventura, Spain with Sarah and Simon from Gloucester - who stood firm by the new home budget of £200,000.
The pair refused to budge and had a stern response for Laura when she told them they might have to up their spend limit to snap up the sort of places they really want in the town of Corralejo.
Simon told her that £200,000 was their budget, Laura suggesting they be a bit more flexible after a home sold recently in the area for 100K more.
