United had been linked with the 19-year-old, who has grabbed the attention of a number of top clubs this summer with his performances for RB Salzburg.
As well as United, the likes of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid were touted as possible destinations for the promising young forward.
But it’s Leipzig who have won the race, with Sesko signing a five-year deal. The teenager will officially join the Bundesliga club next summer and will remain with Salzburg for the 2022/23 campaign.
