A council has been blasted over a huge sinkhole which opened up on a main road weeks ago - and is still there. The 'dangerous' hole on Dunham Road opened up around three weeks ago, according to residents.
But despite reporting it to Trafford Council, they say it has been 'left'. Instead, locals say council workers simply placed cones around the hole.
When he tried to report it, a resident who spoke to the MEN said the council simply told him they had noted his concerns, and closed his ticket, while the hole remained unrepaired.
Trafford Council today (July 11) confirmed they would be fixing the hole within the next 'three to four days'.
