Kenneth Branagh‘s third Agatha Christie adaptation, which hit theaters in September, will debut on digital retailers and Hulu on Oct.

31. It will also arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on Nov. 28. The murder mystery is based on Christie’s 1969 novel “Hallowe’en Party.” Set in a post-World War II Venice on All Hallows’ Eve, the story follows a mystery featuring the celebrated sleuth Hercule Poirot (Branagh) as he reluctantly attends a séance at a haunted palazzo.

After one of the guests is murdered, the former detective must once again find out who did it. In his review, Variety film critic Todd Gilchrist wrote that “Branagh, once again pulling double duty as the film’s star and director, anchors this (possibly) supernatural digression from the shoe-leather sleuthing of earlier Hercule Poirot stories with appropriate theatricality, while playful turns from a shrewdly selected supporting cast elevate the case from just another murder mystery to suitably arch gothic horror.” The film also stars Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh, a medium who appears to summon Alicia’s spirit during the séance, and Tina Fey, a mystery novelist who made her name by fictionalizing the misadventures of the Belgian detective.
