A Greater Manchester mill is hosting a makers market perfect for Christmas shopping this weekend

Gift buying can be a stressful experience - you’ve got to battle all the crowds in the shops and it can be hard to know what to buy.

As an antidote to the high street, an old textile mill in Stockport is hosting a small makers market this weekend. With hand crafted items and one-off pieces, it’s definitely the place to go if you’re looking for a unique gift.

Miru Mill is a small business which has been renovating an early 19th century textile mill. It’s opening to the public for the first time on Sunday December 10, from 11-4pm, hosting stalls from 10 local makers.
