It's always sad when a band decides to part ways but for some musicians it can lead them on to a whole new career, such as Ultra frontman James Hearn.

James, now 47, found fame as a member in boyband Ultra alongside Michael Harwood, Jon O'Mahony and Nick Keynes.The foursome rose to fame in the late 1990s before splitting up in 2001 and then briefly reuniting in 2005.

Lead vocalist James has opted for a completely new career and turned his back on music completely, with it being revealed that he now works the head of asset management at an investment bank in London.

James' LinkedIn profile shows he has worked in his current role for around eight years, having joined the company in February 2015.
