This deal led to them providing the soundtrack for 1982 film Monkey Group. Two singles from the soundtrack were released, with Boys in Town reaching No.8 in the national singles chart. This opportunity proved to be a springboard for Divinyls' music career, with three more albums - Desperate, What a Life!

and Temperamental - being released throughout the 1980s.Then, the band underwent an image overhaul and opted to mix up their sound, moving from hard rock to pop.
