'9-1-1: Lone Star' Casts Rob Lowe's Real Brother Chad to Play His Sibling on the Show

According to TV Line, Fox has cast the Parks and Recreation star’s real-life brother to play his sibling on 9-1-1: Lone Star for the May 2 episode. Click inside to read more… Chad will play Captain Owen Strand’s estranged brother, per the upcoming episode’s logline. “Owen travels to Los Angeles to confront his estranged father and some painful childhood memories,” the summary reads.
While this will mark Chad‘s first on-screen appearance in the series, he’s previously directed two episodes of the show.
He’s also directed Rob in episode of Fox’s The Grinder and ABC’s Brothers & Sisters, per TV Line. The May 2 episode will also feature Robert Pine, Chris Pine‘s father, who will star as Owen’s father. Rob was seen on set for 9-1-1: Lone Star earlier this year and you can see all the pics here.
