Brace yourselves because this doesn’t have a happy ending… Earlier this month, communities in Ohio were horrified to hear an Amber Alert had been put out for 7-year-old Oaklynn Alexander, according to WKYC.
The young girl was taken from her grandma’s house by her non-custodial father, Charles Alexander, after he tried to pick her up from school multiple times and failed.
But this is where things got intense… A press release reported the Brunswick Division of Police spotted Alexander’s vehicle after its description was made public, but when they tried to stop him, he fled and started a car chase.
