25 Best Movies New to Streaming in March: ‘Wicked,’ ‘Anora,’ ‘Moana 2’ ‘Queer’ and More

Zack Sharf Digital News Director It’s a blockbuster month on streaming as “Wicked” and “Moana 2,” two of 2024’s biggest movies, make their arrivals on Peacock and Disney+, respectively.

The former was a musical sensation with $728 million worldwide and 10 Academy Award nominations, including best picture, while the latter crossed the $1 billion mark worldwide and proved Moana is one of Disney’s most beloved and popular characters.

Elsewhere on streaming this month, Sean Baker’s “Anora” makes its debut on Hulu after a sensational awards run following its Palme d’Or win at the Cannes Film Festival last May.

It’s not the only Oscar nominee arriving on streaming either. Best documentary nominee “Soundtrack to a Coup D’Etat” is available on the Kino Film Collection and four-time Oscar nominee “Nosferatu” is streaming on Peacock.
