Danny, who is approximately 6ft tall and weighs up to 24 stone, had completed the jump from the suspension bridge above the River Wharfe, Ilkley, a number of times in the past but this time it had devastating consequences.
He claims that he checked the depth of the water before jumping in and believes it was about 8ft deep, reports Yorkshire Live.However, he reports that he hit a 'massive' hidden boulder as he jumped into the river feet-first.
