Noel Radford, star of hit Channel 5 show 22 Kids & Counting, made an emotional discovery about his past, during the final episode of the third series of the show.

Noel and his wife Sue are parents to a staggering 22 children, grandparents to nine grandchildren and are the owners of seven dogs - and they've not ruled out having another child.The couple, who live in a huge 10-bedroom home in Lancashire, were both adopted as babies.The latest episode of the programme sees Noel delve into his past to find out more about his birth parents, despite not previously having an inclination to do so.

Noel said: “We are both adopted but I don’t think it’s affected our relationship in any way, we are just normal people and that’s it.” The Radford's 17 year old daughter Ellie fell ill, as Sue explained that she had become "very lethargic" and had "lost weight" after "going off her food".

After a trip to the doctors, they discovered that Ellie's liver function was high as it was determined that she had Gilbert's Syndrome, which is a hereditary condition that is passed through genetics.
