Aodaer Water Ripple Hair Rollers, £13.99 here, is a bizarre yet brilliant kit made up of 30 swirly, colourful hair rollers and three “styling hooks”.To create mermaid-style waves, you wet your hair and pull individual sections through each roller using the hooks provided.
The brand states that you should keep the curlers on the hair for between 15 and 20 minutes minimum, but claims “the longer you use it, the better the effect”.
