New research has discovered that more than three million people across the UK will not turn their central heating on this winter due to worries about the rising cost of energy bills.
French clothing specialists, Damart, surveyed 2,000 UK adults to learn more about attitudes to putting the heating on during the colder months, as well as ways to keep warm at home.
The study found that more than half the nation (55%) have worried at some point about the cost of their heating bills, with a further one in seven people (15%) stating that this is a constant source of concern for them.
