Zayn Malik fans once again proved they're unstoppable after rallying together to remove a song from Spotify. The former One Direction singer was linked to a track named Zayn Did 9/11, which was released onto the online streaming service in 2017.

Recorded by a parody account named Uma Kompton, the track made light of the horrific terror attack in America, which saw almost 3000 people killed at the World Trade Centre in New York, as well as an attack on the Pentagon in Washington.

It also takes aim at Malik, 27, who is a non-practising Muslim.Since the track resurfaced, the trending topic #RemoveItForZayn instantly became a worldwide discussion on Twitter.Fans hit out over the "disgusting" single, with one penning: "#removeitforzayn this is.
