Based on the 1945 novel of the same name by Nancy Mitford, Emily Mortimer’s “The Pursuit of Love” is a breezy, swirling look at the romantic lives of two upper-crust British cousins in between WWI and WWII.

The first of three novels featuring the two characters, this miniseries adaptation keeps the format of the novels as Fanny Logan (Emily Beecham) narrates the story, focusing mostly on the romantic adventures of her beloved cousin Linda Radlett (Lily James).
