Brides blast Scots wedding venue after 'finding out receptions cancelled on Facebook'
wedding receptions were cancelled from reading a Facebook post.The Tufted Duck Hotel in Aberdeenshire is being revamped as a bar and bistro by owners Lesley Ann and Conrad Ritchie and they have decided to cancel wedding receptions due to be held there.The coronavirus pandemic and lockdown restrictions have been blamed for the change.The couple said they relied on two functions per week to make the business, which employs 19 staff, viable and as of yet, there is no date in place for when large gatherings will be allowed again.However, that has been blasted as little more than an excuse by one angry bride who was due to get married at the Tufted Duck, in St Combs, Aberdeenshire, in September 2021.The woman, who asked not to be named, found
