Hardcore-adjacent New York band Show Me The Body have announced details of a collection of remixes featuring Pink Siifu, RKX Nephew, and more. Trouble The Water - Remixes will be released on August 31 via Loma Vista Recordings.

Show Me The Body have shared a new single ‘We Came To Play’, alongside announcing new album ‘Trouble The Water’.The second offering from the upcoming album, ‘We Came To Play’ follows on from previously released single ‘Loose Talk’ and the new single has arrived with visuals directed by Zev Deans.“Although the title invokes the ancient alchemy Moses wielded to free and unite Israelite peoples, ‘Trouble The Water’ refuses nostalgia or mimicry,” said the band in a statement.“Instead, it considers the sublime power of the unifying physical practices that can be enacted daily, to invoke immeasurable spiritual and collective reactions. Buoyed by moments of stinging stillness and compulsive, almost optimistic, malfunctioning rhythms, the work is literally a conjuration to dance, and move.

New York-based experimental punk trio Show Me The Body has revealed its third studio album Trouble The Water. It's out October 28 via Loma Vista Recordings.

Show Me The Body frontman Julian Cashwan Pratt pushed a fan off-stage after they got up to film themselves next to the band.The New York hardcore group, who released the single ‘Loose Talk’ last month, are currently out on the road in North America with Soul Glo and WiFiGawd.Following a recent gig, fan-shot footage emerged of one crowd member crashing the stage and taking a video while standing close to Pratt. The singer and banjoist reacted by stepping away from the mic and shoving the man over.As a result, the fan fell and knocked over a large speaker stack.

Turnstile, Show Me The Body and more.The festival, traditionally held in Leeds, will move across the Pennines to Manchester for a three-day event at the Bowlers Exhibition Centre next June.Also on the line-up for next year’s festival are Basement, who will play a 10th anniversary set featuring material from their albums ‘Colourmewithkindness’ and ‘I Wish I Could Stay Here’.They’ll be joined by Chubby and the Gang, Higher Power, Knocked Loose, Citizen and more.

Show Me the Body are back with a short burst of new music in the form of Survive, a three-song EP aptly titled for the present moment. The release follows the New York City experimental hardcore band's album Dog Whistle, and they're not striking any more of an optimistic or conciliatory tone than they did on that project.
