SHERELLE has announced an upcoming live show in London, with ticket prices capped at just £10 each.Taking place at the Roundhouse venue in the UK capital on April 11, the performance will come as a one-off show for the electronic producer and DJ – as well as being her biggest headline show to date.Titled ‘SHERELLELAND’, the event aims to be “a night of the best forward-thinking and uncompromising music for ‘bocats on a budget’”, and will land in Camden as part of Roundhouse Three Sixty.To make the event more accessible for fans, both the artist and venue organisers have teamed up to enforce a price cap on tickets – with each costing only £10.According to a new press release, the idea was born out of “frustration of the cost of living crisis and expensive ticket prices”, and hopes to make exploring Jungle, Breaks and Footwork more accessible for fans.Tickets are on sale now, and can be purchased here.A post shared by SHERELLE

SHERELLE has announced her “cheap and cheerful” ‘SHERELLELAND’ 2024 UK and European tour.The tour sees SHERELLE team up with independent venues and promoters to bring the sounds of jungle, drum & bass and footwork to stages across the UK and Europe. The tour will kick off on February 9 at The Carpet Shop in London. From there, she will make stops in Amsterdam, Leeds, Manchester and Edinburgh.

NME journalist will begin a new weekly show, Steve Lamacq’s Teatime Session, on Monday, January 8 (4pm-7pm), while Huw Stephens will be taking the weekday slot Tuesday-Friday.“Steve Lamacq has decided to make a well-deserved change to his broadcasting career,” BBC 6 Music announced in a social post this weekend.It confirmed that Lamacq will present his final daily weekday show on Friday October, 20. 6 Music stage at this year’s All Points East festival will feature performances from Gilles Peterson, Norman Jay, Sherelle and more.Returning to the Victoria Park festival as official broadcast partners, 6 Music has today (May 25) announced the line-up for its stage at the two-weekend event, taking place August 19-20 and August 25-28.Peterson along with fellow 6 Music presenters Mary Anne Hobbs, Tom Ravenscroft, AFRODEUTSCHE, Jamz Supernova and Don Letts will curate the stage; each presenter will also perform DJ sets themselves on the days they oversee.Acts performing on the stage across the two festival weekends include Benji B, Colleen “Cosmo” Murphy, LUXE, Nabihah Iqbal, Nia Archives, Planningtorock, Shy One, Tash LC & Mina and more.“After our hugely successful first year of welcoming BBC Radio 6 Music as All Points East’s broadcast partner in 2021, it’s brilliant to have them back hosting the 6 Music stage,” Jim King, CEO of European Festivals at AEG Presents, said in a press release.
