Humble Bundle has revealed its selection of games for its October Humble Choice, with acclaimed indies Katana Zero, John Wick Hex, and Amnesia: Rebirth among the highlights.Previously known as Humble Monthly, the digital storefront’s Humble Choice is a monthly subscription that offers users a curated selection of PC games they can choose to keep forever.There are also multiple plans, with the Basic Plan at US$14.99 / £11.99 letting players choose from three of the offered games to keep, while the Premium Plan for US$19.99 / £15.99 lets them keep nine.

Humble Bundle has revealed that their Humble Heal: COVID-19 Bundle raised over one million dollars for charities fighting the Coronavirus outbreak.The total raised was $1,170,824 (£825,000), 100 per cent of which will be going to Direct Relief, Doctors Without Borders, International Medical Corps, and GiveIndia.Humble Bundle usually split the proceeds several ways, between themselves, the game publisher, and the current charity – so this was a unique opportunity to raise a huge amount for these charities.The bundle included games, software, and books and ran throughout May.

Humble Bundle has announced a change to the way that charitable donations will be handled in the future.The new changes will limit the amount that buyers can give to charity to 15 per cent, and will remove the sliders that gave buyers the ability to set custom amounts.A post on the Humble Bundle blog has provided a preview of the changes coming to payment options, which will feature toggles with pre-defined splits.The default will be set so that 85 per cent of the payment goes to the developer, 10 per cent goes to Humble Bundle and the final five per cent of the split will go to charity.By choosing the “Extra to Charity” option, buyers will be able to triple their donation to charity, changing the figures to 80 per cent to the developer,
