Epik High announce 2024 ‘The Pump’ North America tour

Epik High have announced their upcoming 2024 ‘The Pump’ North America tour, featuring concerts in Canada and the US.Epik High will return to North America later this year for a massive 23-date tour of the region, which will feature two Canadian concerts and 21 performances in the US across August and September 2024.The K-hip-hop trio will kick things off at the Orpheum in Vancouver on August 22. The same month, the group will also play shows in the US states of Washington, Oregon and Neveda, as well as three concerts across California.In September, Epik High will bring their tour to Central US states and the East Coast.

Epik High have released a music video for their latest single, ‘Antihero’.‘Antihero’ is the lead single off Epik High’s new mixtape, ‘Pump’, which also includes the song ‘I Was Happy’, featuring Kim Jong-wan of NELL. Notably, the project is also the trio’s first full body of work since Part Two of their tenth studio album ‘Epik High Is Here’ dropped in February 2022.Speaking with Billboard about the mixtape, the group said that the mixtape format of ‘Pump’ “frees us from having to make radio hits, allowing us to refocus on the irreverent and raw side of Epik High that our core fans love”.

Epik High dabble in surrealism in ‘Face ID’ music video

Epik High have returned with a brand-new single ‘Face ID’.The song arrived yesterday (October 25), alongside its accompanying music video, which featured cameos from the track’s guest stars: K-Hip-Hop rappers Giriboy, Sik-K and Justhis.The visual shows all five rappers in individual, bright-coloured rooms with its contents being warped and distorted to unnatural lengths, including the musicians themselves. “We’re already on another page / Better not talk, just face it / I mastermind, you’re just mimicking the gestures / Gotta get get get what I want,” they chant in the chorus.‘Face ID’ is a pre-release track for ‘Epik High Is Here 下, Part Two’, the second half of their 10th studio album.
