Lorde, Christine And The Queens and Pusha T have been added to the line-up at this year’s Flow Festival.The event is due to take place in Helsinki, Finland between August 11 and August 13.Organisers confirmed in December that acts including FKA Twigs, Caroline Polachek, Suede and Devo would perform over the weekend before they announced Blur and Wizkid would join the bill in January.The latest announcement will see Lorde make her debut at the festival on August 12 while Christine And The Queens will be making her first appearance on the closing night. Arlo Parks, Laurent Garnier, Honey Dijon, Franc Moody and Todd Terry and more will now join the previously announced The Chemical Brothers, Christine and the Queens, and Fatboy Slim.The festival, which takes place Thursday August 3 to Sunday August 6, 2023 at Cornbury Park, Oxfordshire has also added Joesef, GoGo Penguin and Flyte to the bill.Other previously announced acts include Sugababes and Confidence Man, alongside comedy, spoken word, film screens, Q&As, panels, dance performances and more.Speakers so far include the likes of Sara Pascoe, Elizabeth Day, Munroe Bergdorf and more. BBC Radio 6 Music Festival will return to Manchester next month, with Christine And The Queens, Arlo Parks and Loyle Carner all set to headline.This year’s edition of the station’s annual live event is due to take place in Greater Manchester between March 23-26. Tickets go on general sale at 10am GMT this Thursday (February 16) – you’ll be able to buy yours here.Per a press release, the festival will boast “global premieres of brand new live shows, new music debuts, unique collaborations and surprise guests” across the four days.

Christine and the Queens – is accompanied by a clip featuring Redcar alongside Rodin’s 1877 statue l’Age d’airain (The Age of Bronze).The new clip sees Chris, AKA Redcar, dancing through a series of neon-lit scenes, described in a press release as “a dream-like universe” that “pays homage to the sculpture’s impeccable omnipotence”.Redcar will also present the video at the new Paris Sales art event in the French capital, the Paris+ fair by Art Basel. Chris, aka Christine and the Queens, has delayed his new album ‘Redcar les adorables étoiles’ and its accompanying live shows after suffering an injury in rehearsals.The French singer-songwriter – who is performing as the character Redcar for his current project – “injured himself on stage while dancing” last Thursday night (September 8), an official statement confirmed.“The doctors have forbidden him to return to the stage for at least three weeks, the time to recover. We are therefore obliged to cancel the concert in Arles on 17 September and to postpone the concerts in Paris and London.”Chris has also pushed back the release of his ‘Redcar…’ album from September 23 to November 11.The artist’s accompanying live shows were scheduled to take place at Cirque d’Hiver in Paris on September 22 and 23, and the Royal Festival Hall in London on September 30.
