Kep1er members Mashiro and Yeseo look likely to join LIMELIGHT, following the launch of their personal Instagram accounts.Back in May, WAKEONE confirmed that seven out of nine Kep1er members had extended their contracts to continue group activities. The remaining two, Mashiro and Yeseo, did not extend their contracts, which ended earlier this week.

143 Entertainment K-pop act LIMELIGHT wil be re-debuting as a new group named MADEIN.On July 16, all of LIMELIGHT’s social media accounts were changed to reflect the group’s new name, MADEIN, alongside a new logo. The change comes after the agency hinted that former Kep1er members Mashiro and Yeseo would be joining the act following the end of their contracts in the project girl group.The two K-pop idols launched personal Instagram accounts, which LIMELIGHT’s (now MADEIN’s) official account reshared to its story.

Kep1er member Yeseo has opened up about her thoughts on having to leave the K-pop girl group next month.Last month, Kep1er’s labels WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment announced that seven of the girl group’s nine members had agreed to extend their contracts as a group. The remaining two members, Mashiro and Yeseo from 143 Entertainment, will “conclude their activities” and leave Kep1er following the girl group’s upcoming concert.Kep1er was formed in 2021 through the idol competition series Girls Planet 999, and made their debut with the mini-album ‘First Impact’ in January 2022.

Kep1er may be extending their activities with seven of its members.On May 16, StarNews reported that members Yujin, Xiaoting, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Hikaru, Huening Bahiyyih and Youngeun have successfully extended their contracts with WAKEONE, and that the group will be re-organised as a seven-member act.In response to reports, remaining members Mashiro and Yeseo’s agency 143 Entertainment shared that it is still in the middle of discussions regarding their contracts for Kep1er. “We are still reviewing this matter carefully, and no decision has been made,” it said per EDaily.Later, WAKEONE shared a similar statement, adding that it is discussing an extension of Kep1er’s activities with all of its members and their respective agencies.Kep1er was formed in 2021 through the idol competition series Girls Planet 999, and made their debut with the mini-album ‘First Impact’ in January 2022.

Oh, baby,” they sing on the chorus.Notably, ‘Last Dance’ will be LIMEIGHT’s last release as a trio.

iKON‘s Bobby has opened up about former groupmate B.I and his feeling about the latter’s departure from the K-pop boyband in June 2019.Bobby spoke about B.I’s departure from the group in the comment section of a recent Instagram post on September 11, seemingly in response to discissions between fans about whether the group should reunite.In comments seen and archived by SBS Star and Koreaboo, the South Korean rapper said that he understands where fans are coming from, calling B.I his “brother”.“He did show some bad influence [on] our next gen[eration], but [I] can’t stop my love for him though,” Bobby added, while saying that B.I. “kno[w]s what he did was wrong and everything”.“I love him as much as you do.

iKON’s Bobby has released a new solo song titled ‘Cherry Blossom’ and its music video.Today (March 20), the K-pop idol unveiled the music video for ‘Cherry Blossom’, a track from his upcoming single album ’S.i.R’. The project, which will feature the title track ‘Drowning’, will be released tomorrow (March 21) at 6pm KST.In the ‘Cherry Blossom’ music video, Bobby wakes up in a dim bedroom, before getting up to sing and dance to the upbeat new track as he is haunted by memories of the past.
