animal welfare bosses have launched a search for the owners of a group of festive strays - including a ferret and a chicken.
Animals were found roaming wild by the Scottish SPCA over the past few weeks. Now the charity has launched an appeal to help find the owners of the creatures.
They were found in various locations around Scotland.One, a white ferret, was found straying in Jamestown, West Dunbartonshire on Christmas Eve sparking a rescue by the charity.A proud-looking cockerel was found in the Tarves area of Aberdeenshire but it is unclear who the owner of the animal is.And a hamster survived Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow on Hogmanay and was found by charity workers.The Scottish SPCA is now urging anyone with information on the animals.
