Sarah Michelle Geller has responded after claims were made about Buffy creator Joss Whedon’s conduct on set. Whedon was at the centre of a row between DC Extended Universe star Ray Fisher and the Warner Bros studio after the Cyborg actor claimed the director’s behaviour was ‘gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.’ This launched an internal investigation into Whedon’s conduct and resulted in the actor being removed from the upcoming The Flash film.
As a result, more stars are speaking out to back Fisher in his claims. After her fellow Buffy star Charisma Carpenter released a lengthy statement on her experiences with Whedon, Sarah Michelle Geller released a statement throwing her support behind the victims speaking out.
