The 27year-old musician spoke to Zane Lowe in a recent interview and shared that they self diagnosed the infectious virus. “I didn’t get tested but I know I have it,” Sam shared. “I’m just going to assume that I did because everything I’ve read completely pointed to that.
So yeah, I think I definitely had it.” They continued, revealed that their sister was also showing the same symptoms. Sam and their sister did quarantine for three weeks after that in order to protect their family: “I’ve got an older Nan, so we didn’t want to risk anything.” Sam also shared that they believe they had the virus just as UK was going on lockdown and started to quarantine.
