Robin van Persie admits his wonder strike against Aston Villa was preempted in a chat with Wayne Rooney. The Dutchman won his sole Premier League title in his debut season at Old Trafford.

His 30 goals were pivotal in delivering Sir Alex Ferguson's final honour as Manchester United manager, but one strike in particular stands out.
